COVID 19 UPDATE (current as at 1 Agust 2023)

We comply with all Victorian Government and Department of Health requirements and directives, therefore the following is subject to change.

For your and our safety, all our tour guides are triple vaxed.

So joining Alice’s Journeys Walking Tours is a relatively Covid-19 Safe activity while you are enjoying your stay in the region.

We just ask that you take the time to read the following requirements to ensure we all stay safe.

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we’ve implemented standard safety measures to protect our guests and guides while on tour.

In order to maintain safety and comply with government regulations, we are only running small, pre scheduled private tours with a maximum of twenty (25) guests

If you have cough and cold symptoms, please rest and we will give you a full refund.

For the Daylesford Walk we will meet outside the Daylesford Visitor Information Centre 15 minutes before we commence our tour. This allows time for introductions and a brief summary of this plan and our other health and safety tips.

If you feel at all unwell leading up to or on the day of your tour, do not come in for a tour. Give us a call and we’ll be happy to reorganise for a time when everyone is feeling 100% again. Please be aware that these standards will also be applied to our guides and may result in your tour being rescheduled.

While on tour:

We ask that you (a) wash or sanitise your hands at the commencement of the tour,  (b) maintain a safe (1.5m) distance from your guide and other participants while on tour. This includes refraining from handshakes, hugs and kisses. Friendly spatially-distant body language and conversation is warmly welcomed.

Your guide will wash and sanitise their hands before greeting you and will have hand sanitiser available for use. New masks can be purchased at a cost of $5 each.

We love showing off the best of our town to you and this often means going inside buildings and down narrow streets. When this is the case, your guide may choose to avoid crowded areas or ask you to walk through or past something before stopping so we can maintain physical distancing both within the group and between you and other members of the public.

If at any point on the tour you feel unsafe or unsure, just let your guide know and we’ll take steps to make sure you are more comfortable.

COVID Vaccinations: Our tour guides are fully vaxed!

After your tour:

If anyone in your group tests positive for COVID-19 in the next 14 days, please let us know. (email us at info@alicesjourneys.com or give us a call on 0455 519 111

We look forward to welcoming you on tour.
